Inside Chalk Hill - Meet Chris Judd

We are delighted to shine a spotlight on the journey of Chris Judd and welcome his expertise into the Chalk Hill Group fold. Chris embarked on his professional career shortly after graduating from University of Winchester in 2009. His first role was in recruitment, focused on the oil and gas sector — laying the groundwork for a deep affinity with complex talent markets.

Over time Chris’s career followed a clear upward trajectory. After accumulating early experience, he joined Venture Recruitment Partners in 2016 as Senior Consultant. With a growing track record of delivering recruitment outcomes, Chris was promoted in 2019 to Associate Director and broadened his remit to oversee the part-qualified team, reflecting his growing leadership within the business.

In September 2022, Chris stepped up to Director, where he further honed the interim recruitment offering, a shift from traditional permanent hires to flexible, high-impact executive and interim appointments. Then, in October 2023, he was appointed Managing Director at Chilworth Partnership to focus on interim recruitment at the executive level.

What stands out across this progression is Chris’s consistent orientation towards serving high-stakes talent landscapes: whether through developing teams, evolving recruitment models or guiding clients in time-sensitive talent moves. At each step he has expanded both his scope of responsibility and strategic impact.
